Scottish Experience
In keeping with the Resort's "Essence of Arizona" theme, the Scottish Traditions at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa serve to pay homage to the contributions made by the Scottish immigrants to the development of Arizona's railroads, mines and towns.
The "Scottish Pipes at Sunset Series" is the original tribute to the Scottish immigrants where guests and families are encouraged to gather around the fire pit every evening at the Resort's Dreamweaver's Canyon to enjoy the haunting sounds of the Scottish Bagpipes with Michael McClanathan.
McClanathan plays daily in Dreamweaver's Canyon at sunset.
