The OK Corral

Located adjacent to the Adventure Pool and shaded against the Arizona sun, the "OK Corral" provides hours of FUN with activities like lawn chess, basketball, game tables, and RC Car Race Tracks.

The fire pit at the OK Corral is the place to be for "Kierland Kampfires" and Arizona S'mores, and a seating area with tables and open space offers the opportunity for activities and events with the Westin Kierland FUN team like water balloon games, hula hoop contests, limbo, relay races, and much more!

Named after one of the most famous events in Western history, the "Gunfight at OK Corral" that took place in Tombstone, Arizona in 1881, is where Virgil, Wyatt, and Morgan Earp, along with their friend, Doc Holliday, faced off against Ike and Billy Clanton and Tom and Frank McLaury. The Earps represented the "law and order" element of Tombstone, while the Clantons and McLaurys were part of a loose-knit band of cattle rustlers known as the "Cowboys," operating in and around Cochise County. Historians and Old West buffs still debate and discuss the wherefores and the whys of the thirty second feud that took place at the "Gunfight at OK Corral."
