THE OK CORRAL
The fire pit at the OK Corral is the place to be for “Kierland Kampfires” and Arizona S’mores, and a seating area with tables and open space offers the opportunity for activities and events with the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa FUN team such as water balloon games, hula hoop contests, limbo, relay races and much more!
The Resort’s OK Corral is named after the site of one of the most infamous events in Old West history. In 1881, in Tombstone, Arizona, lawman Wyatt Earp joined with his brothers Virgil and Morgan and friend Doc Holliday to face off against a loose-knit band of Cochise County cattle rustlers that included Ike and Billy Clanton and Tom and Frank McLaury. The 30-second shootout still leaves historians and Old West buffs debating the details of the notorious feud.
