deseo – meaning desire in Spanish – showcases Contemporary Latin cuisine, a pairing of traditional Latin American ingredients and contemporary culinary style to create unique, fresh and flavorful dishes that include a range of mouthwatering ceviches, grilled and roasted fish and shellfish, and a selection of skillfully prepared meats all with tantalizing South American-inspired marinades, sauces and sides. Muddle Bar at deseo
At the heart of deseo lies “The Rail” which holds the 12 best seats in the house. Guests are invited to sit at The Rail and overlook the open kitchen while chefs prepare intricate ceviche dishes and delectable desserts. To make a reservation for The Rail, mention “seating at The Rail” in special instructions through online reservations, or request the seating preference when making a phone reservation at (480) 624-1202.
Every Thursday night at 5:30 p.m., the deseo culinary team will do a demonstration of two signature ceviche dishes (paired with a signature mojito drink), followed by a three-course dinner at “The Rail” (paired with South American wines). Guests can interact with the chefs, ask questions and learn tips to use at home. The three-course dinner includes salad, entrée and dessert in addition to wine paired with each course and one of our signature muddle drinks to kick off the night. The cost is only $75 per person and does not include tax and gratuity.

The Muddle Bar at deseo is the perfect place to enjoy a specialty Muddle drink, a glass of wine from a selection of more than 120 labels, or a flavorful ceviche dish.
From 5:30 – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, the Muddle Bar invites you to unwind and enjoy signature Muddle Drinks and select glasses of wine for $6 each (regularly $13 each) during “descansar” – which means to “to rest or relax” in Spanish.
While you’re enjoying a drink at the Muddle Bar, experience live art in action with Resident Artist Nelson Garcia-Miranda. Watch him bring a whimsical display of expression to the canvas before your eyes.

In 1999, Garcia-Miranda came to Phoenix after seeking political exile from his homeland. Since his arrival in this country, the displacement has made him more aware of his Cuban heritage or “cubanidad” and its expression in his art. He is committed to creating artwork that celebrates Cuban culture and heritage by combining his personal experiences in a style called “cubanidad”.
Nelson Garcia-Miranda’s work has also been exhibited in Havana, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Spain, and the U.S. and can currently be found in art collections in more than 20 countries including Italy, Germany, France, Argentina and Japan.
