Brittlebush Bar & Grill features an innovative Gastropub experience with a Scottish influence. Gastropub (n): British term for a public house ("pub") which specializes in high-quality food a step above the more basic "pub grub." The menu defines a mixture between native Arizona favorites and the unique Scottish-inspired dishes of its Gastropub menu. Located at the Kierland Golf Club, the cuisine connects to the Scottish heritage of the Kierland golf experience. Brittlebush Bar & Grill is one of the several ways The Westin Kierland honors its Scottish heritage. Be immersed in Scottish traditions through the Resort's "Scottish Pipes at Sunset Series," Scotch Tastings, the "Scottish Golf Experience," Scottish-themed wedding ceremony package, Bagpiper mascot and even a Resort dog, "Scotty" the Scottish Terrier.
The menu has been created with sustainability in mind by using local ingredients and flavors from across the state. Brittlebush is proud to showcase some of the best regional purveyors and delectable farm-to-table dishes with their foods. Some of the local Arizona partners include La Sonorense Tortilla Factory, Press Coffee Roasters, Queen Creek Olive Mill, SchreinerÃs, Wildflower Bread Co. Also highlighted are craft beers from the best Arizona breweries including, San Tan, Four Peaks, Nimbus and Papago breweries, including the signature "Piper's Ale," named after the "Bagpipes at Sunset Series" where the Resort's bagpiper plays every evening at sunset to call the golfer's in from a day on the links. A true culinary adventure that awaits for golfers, Resort guests, and locals alike.
